Umm this is why you shouldn't decide to try out a map idea after a long road trip... (Spoiler alert; Tons of text and several images. Also sorry if the post is confusing... Its too late at night to be writing this ) Spoiler: ALREADY MENTIONED ABOVE This is me... And now you can't even see me this zoomed out. 8192x8192 sized to a 2:1 size ratio and a height of 1024... I know, I must be insane right? Any larger and I would not be able to get a decent framerate on it. Sad because I actually wanted to make a map that was absurdly large for extremely long cruises in mountainous terrain. Ofcourse I keep stuff like this just for fun so I can try out ideas without ruining a perfectly good map ALSO; Don't worry about the "other map" (The one right before the images above,) I made and showed screenshots of, I've saved it and plan on a release of it once I finish its main road. Its a simple loop and a road coming off of it that would be well suited for a hillclimb race. Nothing super special but I do like the scenery, and I don't want to overdo it. I absolutely love cruising this map. Burns the fuel and takes more than 2 minutes to go around, and it really shows off some of the other aspects of BeamNG other than the soft body physics. I might throw in a simple scenario on it too, I will see what I end up doing. Though I must ask, before I even consider a release of it, is if anyone has a map on the forums or the mods page, or a map they plan on releasing that uses the level filename test_mines. If you would so kindly let me know in a message, I would appreciate it. I want to be safe and not put a map out there that someone may or may not conflict with one of their existing maps. Lets say I will give it a week and if I hear nothing on it I will give a beta test out to willing volunteers and see if I can't make a release happen for this map Also this should give me plenty of time to touch up the map and fill in the vegetation. Again thanks to @Ouerbacker for the amazing textures and the BeamNG devs for the existing objects Truck pictured is a hacked together version of @AR162B 's D series mod. Easy fix for anyone interested. (Though I do have to say, The stuff in this post will probably be what burns out my old MSI r9 270x.)
