Just above the date and time in the lower-righthand corner of the comp-mon, is this odd set of humped blacked out pixels that I just first noticed within the past week. At first the hump was black to the bottom, now it appears to have advanced upward, where there are some pixels exposed underneath the hump.

Can anyone hazard a guess as to what this is? Is it repairable? Does it mean my monitor is toast?
EDIT: Strong words... I meant to say "is gliched"?

I've only had this monitor since about July 2019, so obviously I'm not too happy about it.
Any comments or advice would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time.
