Competition #2 - Bolide Lap Around Industrial Circuit

This is a follow-up competition to "A Friendly Competition - Timetrial Around Dry Rock Island in the Covet Turbo Rally"

- The circuit is the track you start nearby by default.
- The start/finish line is defined as the purple transparent wall you drive through.
- Counterclockwise direction.
- At least three wheels must stay on the track at all times - if all four wheels leave the pavement, it's a DQ.
- Can only use the Civetta Bolide.
- Wrecks are ok - keep driving if you want.
- Mention what input device you are using and if you have shift+b turned on.

Here's my best run with a Logitech Momo... I'm calling it about 40.5 seconds just based on looking at the seconds tick by on my video player. I gave it about two dozen laps last night and another dozen tonight before I was finally capable of regularly running around the track without spilling off of it or spinning 360's. The Bolide is a devil of a car to drive!

so a lap counts as going as fast as you can through the blue thing and then around to the blue thing again?

 

Right, exactly!

 

Now that we are actually racing, the times might get really close to each other and a video or in-game timer might come handy.

I'll give this a try asap.
Only the default configuration is allowed, right?

Hopefully, the upcoming tire model changes will make driving this car a bit easier...

I'll give this another shot after I have finished Coovargos Challenges, and made another go at "Unintended acceleration" since my record there was broken.
