    A whole new computer.
I could just say 4690K/4790K, GTX 970 and a decent Z97 motherboard... So I just did.

Well a new GPU would be the main thing, an R9 380, R9 380x (probably the best choice) or a GTX 960 would be a good bet for that. (Make sure there is enough space in the case to fit a larger card.)

The CPU is pretty good as is and will run all of the individual vehicles just fine and should get up to 3-4 of even the more demanding vehicles.

A new power supply is a MUST (well unless you like explosions) as neither card will do without it. Something from a known brand such as Antec, EVGA, Corsair, Coolermaster or similar will be fine. 550w+ will give you a good upgrade path and allow you to use it in a future build, but if money is super tight you will do fine with a 500w. Mainly just make sure the PSU is 80 Plus.

With all that it will be able to run the game pretty well overall on high settings.

Or go with an R9 380X even, as long as you find one. It's as much as a 960 and has better performance. Also, I don't know if there's any power supplies from those brands at that output tht is less than 80+ Bronze or at least 80 Plus. If I remember correctly, Corsairs with 550W are betwen $50 and $70, by the way.

    CPU is decent, keep it.
You'll need more RAM, at least 8GB. If you have free slots, you can add a single 4GB stick, but it's a better idea to buy 2x4gb new so they're matched. RAM is cheap anyway.
And of course a new GPU. That GT520 is actually worse than the PC's integrated graphics. I can't make a suggestion because I don't know your budget, but check out the GPU section of the guide.

If you upgrade the GPU, you'll also need a new power supply. There's no way the included 300W will handle a high-end GPU. EVGA has great budget PSUs, you should get a 600W 80+ Bronze unit or better.

What? No. The i7-2600 is still a great CPU.

I would want to upgrade it enough so I don't need to upgrade it until at least 2 years as my mum found that is what drew her away from PC gaming but then this was back in the early mid 2000s so things might be different.

Also do you guys think that I might need to upgrade my motherboard?

An i7-2600 will be fine for 2 more years. Don't upgrade your board either. LGA1155 boards are expensive, and upgrading CPU is not worth the cost unless your budget is over £800.

Well, it has an LGA1155, and if you want a 4690K/4790K/6600K/6700K you need LGA1150/1151. So, given that BlueScreen won't ever tell you nonsense about future proofness, You need a decent Z97 or Z170 when upgrading your CPU.
If not there's a new, better socket out in the mean time.

i am kind of looking at getting the Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Ti as that seems to fit my needs nicely. With this card will i possibly get at least 60 on high with most vehicles?

I personally don't think that's enough. I'd spring for an r9 380 if I were you. Some might suggest a gtx 960. Gtx 7xx is really a dead end card at this point no dx12.

    What's your upgrade budget?
750Ti is a Maxwell card and has partial DX12 support. 900 series is still much better though.

Just a random question but what would I expect to get (fps wise) using a Radeon R9 380 GPU with my current cpu?

50-60 FPS on mostly high-max settings on detailed maps like JRI and ECA. WIll run the game just fine really.

I would say, Power Supply upgrade, Graphics card Upgrade and Ram upgrade, no need to change the processor

I would say for GPU depends on what you want, AMD or nVidia

It shows you that you don't need to spend thousands on a pc upgrade or build, unless you want bragging rights.

Oh and thanks for the help guys.

Both builds are way below your budget. Stick to the one I linked in your thread.
