constant crashes

every time i load the game it either locks up while loading or crashes when i give input ingame
i reinstalled cleared cache updated drivers tried without mods unplugged all usb devices restarted computer about 10 times
i dont know what it could be

 

Have you tried safe mode?

 

Yes that does work but it gets anoying needing to redo all keybinds

 

That's normal because it creates a temporary user folder, deleted when the game closes.
What's your pc specs, and do you use DirectX or Vulkan?

 

i have tried both directx and vulcan both dont work
i have an rtx3050 with an i7 and 16gb of ram which should be enough

 

Try moving your userfolder to your desktop and let the game create a new one by launching the game. You can then copy back any files you want to keep, such as custom configs, settings, mods, etc.

 

If it works fine in safe mode, there's probably some rogue file of a mod that's sitting in your user folder or in the game's content folder. Those files will not be removed when validating files or even uninstalling, since Steam only touches files that belong to the game and will not delete anything else from those directories.
