Controller doesn't work after using the world editor (F11)

Pretty self-explanatory.
After using the world editor, my controller's gas pedal no longer works on the vehicle I am in at the time.

All I did was press F11, change the time of day, and then press escape to return to the simulation, at which point the gas pedal no longer works.
The wheel and brake pedal still work normally. Pressing Tab and switching to a new vehicle corrects to the issue, but as soon as you switch back to the vehicle you went into the world editor with, the gas pedal no longer works.

I double-checked to make sure I didn't just have the parking brake on, and the vehicle was undamaged, so I believe this may be a bug.

 

This happened to me with the Xbox controller. I closed the game, reopened - no joy. I updated the game and it worked again.
