Hi! This may be a dumb question as this will be my first mod and I don't have experience with 3D modelingor programing but I downloaded a .skp 3D model (I know .skp is for Sketchup). Is there anyway that I could convert it to a .dae (I think that's what BeamNG uses for engine models) or some other file type that would open in blender? Thanks!

Export from sketchup in DXF, DWG or something like that, if needed download sketchup pro as I can't remember now if regular sketchup was able to export in format that blender did read, I think it could, but I did conversion only once and it is long time ago.

When you go to export in Sketchup, open blender and choose file -> import, then compare lists in both programs and see if there is same formats.
