Cool undrivable cars in racing games

Every night I dream of being a cop and driving the Dodge Charger SRT8 in Need For Speed Payback ;-;

Good thing that BeamNG.drive got my back I can literally drive anything I want but it just doesn't feel right ( I don't care about the Jbeams )

 

This thing in Drives San Francisco. It was in 2 cinematic scenes If I remember right, but not driveable without mods.

Nope, it's a fictional car they designed purely to be blown up - manufacturers of real cars don't like seeing their cars fully destroyed in a game, so the fake shows up in any cutscene where there's some kind of explosion.

 

pretty much, but I find it interesting that a similar logic doesn't seem to apply to movies (e.g. baddies clearly driving BMW, gets totally written off). I suppose one possible factor is that it's a lot harder IRL to make a fictional car than in a game.

OT:

wish I could drive this (in working order of course, a beater would also be cool tho), one of few interesting cars in GTA V, shame the devs are so focused on making 99999999 super hype cars for kiddies to stroke heir little wang to

also proportions seem to be on point, same can't be said for 99% of GTA's cars

NFS High Stakes had an NA Miata ripoff mixed into the traffic on some tracks. You could actually drive it with cheats, but it wasn't nearly as quick or as agile as a real NA from what I can remember (top speed of 101 MPH and turning radius of a supertanker). That's about the only thing I can think of right now.

 

These 2 cars are interesting, but aren't used sadly. The only car that can be modded to be used is the Setra, AKA: The bus.
