I decided I would reduce the TDP oon my 285K to match what would be the lower power version of this cpu the Core Ultra 9 285T.

The 285T has a long power limit of 35W and a short power limit of 112w.

The results were pretty much as expected.

    Core Ultra 9 285K 8 P-Core 16 E-Core (No OC)
    MSI Pro B860M M/B
    32GB DDR5 7200 T-Force Delta Ram
    Asus TUF RTX 5090 OC
    2TB Samsung 9100 Pro SSD

This first picture shows the performance comparing direct 3D to Vulkan

As my other testing has shown there is a larger difference (for the better) when using Vulkan vs Direct 3D mode, especially when you have a high end GPU

This next graph shows the performance but with my Core Ultra 5 225 added in (also running a 5090)

You can see the 225 (6P 4E cores ) out performing the 35w 285 in some cases, proving that having a lot of cores isn't really that beneficial if they aren't fast enough.
