When I load in the Covet in the "Covet 1.5 DXi FWD (Automatic)" configuration and turn the wheels full lock to the right the steering breaks instantly. This is with the updated version of the game with the slidenode steering racks for all vehicles. I haven't tested any other versions of the car yet.

Okay I've done a little bit of testing and it happens with the standard steering rack. The Race and Rally versions of the steering rack work just fine.

Updating now, certainly doesnt happen on the 0.3.1 version of the game but once again I am having problems getting my updater to connect and get 0.3.2 for the slidenode racks

It's happening reliably for me even upon restarting the game. I'll try reinstalling the game and I'll test it out again.

I am unhappy to report that after reinstalling the game I am still having the same issue.

I don't think any of these things matter but I'm using Gridmap and these are the options that I have:

Yeah, dunno why but originally it stayed intact and about 5 minutes ago it snapped as soon as I went to use it. The front inside wheel wobbles alot while cornering on the race rack too.

I've also discovered that if you spawn a standard gavril grand marshal and then switch to the drift steering and then change the bumpers on and off and switch back and forth between the drift steering and the standard steering that eventually the drift steering just starts to explode. Very weird and difficult to reproduce for me.

Thanks for finding these bugs - I think I've fixed the Covet. I put together these slidenode steering racks from 3am to 8am last night/morning so I didn't have much time to thoroughly test them.

Hey, on the plus side the Moonhawk's wheels don't look like they're having a seizure whenever you steer any more! Seriously though, the slidenode steering racks have gotten rid of the wheel wibblyness when cornering with all the vehicles and it seems to help quite a bit handling wise.

Moonhawk wasn't changed :p It uses a parallelogram system, not rack and pinion, so there's no need for slidenodes.

I'm sure I can speak for everyone when I say that I appreciate all of your hard work on everything including these steering rack improvements :)
