Crashed while saving - now it won't load!

    Long story short - been working 18 hours days the past three days straight on this, annnnd now it won't load. Last backup was 24 hours ago.

    "BeamNG.drive 0.15.0.2 0xC0000374 STATUS_HEAP_CORRUPTION"

    I had tossed some textures into "terrains" and edited the materials.cs as per usual. Then copied over ground cover assets and didn't change anything else. Opened the material editor, created a new material, applied it to the ground to test it, and when it asked if I wanted to save I hit yes, then it hung, and now it refuses to load my level!! Nooooooooo

    PLEASE tell me there's a solution

    FWIW it says "building roads" then "import complete" then it goes back to "loading roads" hangs, and crashes with that message.

    I went into materials.ca and removed my additions, and in windows explorer just ctrl+z'd the moves that I did, so it's back to the way it was before I copied the textures over (which I've done already 20 times successfully) so I'm pretty sure the save is just corrupt. I'm not sure if I can just copy out the terrain file, or a specific json file or what. So for now I'm going to move it to it's own location in hopes of someone saying, "just remove *.XXX and it'll rebuild itself."

    You could go to cache directory and clear shaders folder and see if it loads then, those tend to get messed up at times.

    Thanks for the suggestion, but that didn't work.

    I just noticed that my .ter file has been getting saved in the /levels directory, NOT the /levels/krall directory I've been working in, which MEANS I have no backup. If I delete the .ter file the level loads, but of course. . . without any terrain - WAY too much work to be lost!!!

    I want to cry. Grown men . . don't cry.

    I can load the level fine if I delete the terrain.ter file, and all my assets - trees, rocks, etc.. are there. But the AI PATHS are completely gone, and the roads and the 20+ hours of work I did on them with it. Let alone the textures, mountains, beaches, tunnels, etc.. there MUST be a way to rectify a garbled .ter file!!!???

    It loads roads, says import complete, says loading roads again and 2 seconds later pauses and kicks me out.

    I tested this too!! I saw a .ter file in the /levels directory, and I deleted it and it still loaded, I was sure I was backing things up right.

    I FOUND ALL THE ROADS AND PATHS! . . at the bottom of the ocean though.

    So maybe all I'll have to do is rebuild - the ENTIRE - map again, and try to get everythign as close as it was to line up to all the smoothed roads I made OH MY FRICKIN' GAWD NOOOOO I JUST got my sleep schedule back together. Been going at this for 4 days hard, 3pm to 10am every day and today I skipped sleep to be "normal" for Christmas. My heart aches :'(
