For the past few days, I've been having trouble with the game. Everytime I try to start up a scenario or any map in freeroam, the game crashes almost immediately after it's finished loading. This has never happened before until the recent update (0.4.1.2). I play without mods of any sort and have tried re-installing the game twice (through Steam), but to no avail.

Here is a brief overview of my computer's specs:

    Windows 10 Home 64-bit
    8 GB memory
    AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.00 GHz
    NVIDIA Quadro FX 4800
    DirectX 11.1
    Wireless Xbox 360 controller

All of my drivers are up-to-date. I have also tried running both the 64-bit and 32-bit version of the game through the local files (both as administrator and in compatibility mode), but this did not fix the problem. I have no idea why this is happening and it is really frustrating that I can't enjoy the game that I paid for. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Your GPU only supports DX10, which is why it's crashing (probably)

    Yep, no DX11.

You'll have to use the older version of the game, it can be acquired through Steam's beta selector. There's instructions with the latest blogpost.

I see. Thanks for identifying the issue. It's a shame though that I might not get new hardware anytime soon considering how expensive decent GPUs are nowadays.:(

You could just get a GTX 750 (which is what I have) for about 100€ (110$, 70 pound).
It's a good card for the price.
It can run NFS Rivals at Ultra settings and keep the FPS at 30, which Rivals is capped at anyways.
BeamNG runs at normal settings and keeps itself above 30FPS.
GTA V is running at high settings with a few things at very high or ultra, keeps itself at 50 FPS, which is very playable.
You wouldn't need a new PSU for the card, since it draws power from the PCIE 3(?) slot and doesn't need any more power than it offers.
It's DX 11.2 compadible, meaning that, while it won't do DX12s advanced features, it'll run it just fine.
If you want more than 1GB of VRAM you can pay 40€ (45$, 30 pound) moer for 1 extra Gb, which will make it run better in BeamNG, GTA V etc.
So yeah, just get a GTX 750, it's cheap, it's good for it's price and it's gonna last atleast another year before it becomes underpowered.
