Anyone know if its possible to take an object (such as the flat grid plane from gridmap) and convert it to act and look like dirt, mud, sand, or grass etc when driven on? Not sure if its possible but I feel like it is. Thanks!
Yes, all textures have ground physics properties. They are set by the groundmodel property (I think). There are some good YouTube videos on the process. Try looking at either Terry Martin art or Spealer should have one on that.
