Hello everyone! A while back, i stumbled across some VR videos on youtube. What made them different from normal VR videos is that the two images were flipped, so that you could still get a 3D effect on a normal screen by crossing your eyes inwards until the images meet in the center of your vision. I decided to make a few cross-eye screenshots in beamng, so you can take in the intense destruction with an extra bit of immersion. Enjoy! You can also try this for yourself, and post your screenshots here. Just take 2 screenshots in the game, one slightly offset from the other. Place the photos side by side on your desktop, take a screenshot of that, and post it here. Make sure your photos are placed on the correct sides of the screen, otherwise the 3D effect will not work!
No, each picture must be slightly offset (to simulate the perspective of each eye). It's something Youtube also offers on some 3D videos as viewing option. Never managed to get any sense of 3D tbh.
Like Nadeox said, each image needs to be offset slightly. For the cross-eye vr to work, the left and right screenshots need to be switched. Also, it will work on a phone screen or a monitor, but with a PC monitor you need to back away from the screen a bit. If it's still to hard to focus on the 3d effect, you need to back away a bit more. If you are too far away, then you will still be able to focus on the picture but the 3d effect is lost.
