    Well that's odd. I didn't even know Steam did stuff other than games. Nor did I know that Steam is able to charge monthly subscription fees for things.

    Its all game related stuff. Gamemaker (*shudders*), benchmarking tools, character modelling, streaming etc etc. Everything on there makes sense really, you won't find microsoft office or web browsers on there.
