    I made a D-15 Pickup Convertible!
    Credits: Gabester: Original D-15
Go14smoke (Me): Model and J-Beam changes
Gamingthrou: Thumbnails, check out his 40+ Vehicle Thumbnail Mod! Vehicle-Mods-New-Thumbnail
Known bugs: Flappy A-Pillar and no interior view
You may do what you want with it, use it in videos or whatever, but credit me!
1.1 released! Now it works in .3.7.7!
    Put it inside My Documents/BeamNG/Mods/Vehicles/Pickup_Convertible
The last file shouldn't be a zip!
    Thanks and have fun!

Thanks. I am also thinking of removing the side windows (as if they were rolled down).

Oh yea that would look better also, like any other convertible:) I guess they do have some in real life:p And you should make it like this:)

(imported from here) You could do an off-road version like this:)

Just got rid of the back window. Looks pretty sleek now as far as pickup trucks go.

You're never gonna hear the end of it.

    smoothing groups
    SMOOTHING GROUPS

    ARRRRGH

Instead try multidae so the part is optional and doesn't bork all the smoothing.

I think it looks ready! :)

If you can, you should make it so that the blinkers (or some other key) control the 'convertable' part, but I know that will be REALLY hard. Well, depends on how good you are at it.

Good idea, but I have no idea how to do that, but I know that Mythbuster did it on his '49 Caddy. Anyways, time to release!

By the way, is there any easy way to modify vehicles? If so, how would you go about doing so? (What do you use to mod them; Modeling program?)

I used Blender. You import the file into it, then you can modify it.

    Re: D-15 Convertible Mod

If you have 3dsmax use it. If you are a student obtain it through Autodesk at http://students.autodesk.com . It has a proper DAE importer and exporter whereas Blender breaks smoothing groups and exported DAE files from Blender don't import to other programs correctly in many cases.

I would've been more satisfied with the mod had you just screamed I'm desperate for more mods and then made this convertible.

Sorry if this is a bump..

You should do this with a crew cab. I think it would look awesome.

I think there already is one, just look at all of the D-15 mods. and you will eventually find it.
