Not to long ago, in a home down the street...

I decided to play Beamng and when I loaded the game, I was graciously granted a weird D-series. No matter what I do, I cant get rid of the bug. I finally looked at the model in Blender and found its in their too. Haven't seen this before. Its not game breaking, but its one of those "What the wha...." moments.

Sure love that realism.... except I don't thing real cars do this...

This is caused by some mod that includes the entire D15 dae file without edgesplit applied.

I don't think that happens to me.

My understanding is that such happens when you have imported model to Blender and then exported without doing proper Blender related stuff, replacing original content or have mod that has that original game model replaced with model that has same name. Game prefers mods folder content over vanilla content.

Your rear light looks funny too, it is not in my game, so I would guess it is something on your end, some mod or something you have done.

You might need to delete original D-series and from steam select validate content or something like that and it will get fixed if you have messed with original cars.

If you have some mod then removing mod causing this would help.

My random guess is that you might need to check this too:
