I am using decal roads for the first time and am having trouble getting them to render textures properly even on a basic long, straight road. Some stretches appear completely normal, while others looks like this: In-game, the textures appear to be floating above the ground at some points: The underlying terrain is completely flat, so I don't know why the textures are not adhering to the surface. Playing with the decal settings often makes the decal go completely invisible. Any ideas what is going on here? Thanks!
How long is your decal road? At some length it’s happening. If your decal road is long then try to split it on top of the inspector. You have to select the node where you want to split it. --- Post updated --- And perhaps try the new road spline tool. It does the splitting automatically and you can auto paint the terrain underneath your road.
