So, I was wondering if anyone could make a deformable block used for crash testing, Like in IIHS, EuroNcap, etc. I know it works because I saw these images. (Ignore stupid Jsz car). It would be awesome if someone publicly releases something like this! Probably something simpler to make lol. real life pics also to make it even better! --- Post updated --- I bet @Agent_Y could whip something up!
for public not private --- Post updated --- Not really it might be too soft --- Post updated --- I could maybe get a jbeam program and make one but Idk where to start and I might need help
Not really it might be to soft You could make one . if you know how --- Post updated --- I want it more realistic looking lol
I probably could, but i don't have time. As for the looks, you just need to swap the model with a similarly sized one. Shouldn't be too difficult either, that's a pretty simple shape. You'd only need blender
Test1 fridges: not bad! But would be better if it was a bit stiffer and in one piece 6/10. test 2 hale bale square is way to damn soft 1/10. Test 3 wood planks, super hard not even deformable 1/10. Test reports --- Post updated --- How? there very hard
good idea ill change the stiffness to when I figure it out! --- Post updated --- Heres what I want. The crash block just is frozen In midair like @Agent_Y s mincraft block. Also for it to be softer, and a new texture for it to look better. I also did another test. good idea @CrashHard ! It also lags suspiciously alot when I have the metal cube spawned
If this isnt a coincidence i dont know what is https://www.beamng.com/resources/crash-test-deformable-barrier.22297/ Someone literally made one
