Delay between multiple DCT gear changes?

I have a reoccurring problem with my steering wheel.
There's a phenomenon called a "Switch bounce" that's happening with my pedals, which basically means that the switch gets pressed twice instantly instead of once.
In games like Assetto Corsa, when downshifting multiple times, there's always a very small delay between these multiple gear changes, so the switch bounce does not affect changing gears.
In this game, however, when I press the paddle shifters, the gears just jump up or down twice.

This is not really a big request, but I'm pretty sure shifting delays are also present in real-life cars.
It'll really help if this was implemented. I don't want to pay about $30 for a switch that doesn't last too long.
