I think, Demolition derby gameplay mode + AI is more important than new cars or new locations. So, make this first, then other content please.
Not exactly. For the moment they need to take the time to work on bug fixes. Like the skid mark texture being replaced with a missing texture or a dirt texture.
I agree with this fine gentleman. there are bug fixes and tweaks that are important at this time than a demo derby mode. IE: camera issues, skid textures replaced with a giant orange "NO" texture, Turning radius too high, problems detecting xbox 360 controllers, AI, no torque on low gear for any vehicles (makes hill starts impossible, and bumps take 10 minutes to get over from a stand still. nevermind if you get your car caught in a small valley on dirt.)
I also second these good Sirs There are more important thing to do before a derby mode, But I am looking ford to a nice bit of ME Vs. AI

I would vote for derby now to be honest... the game is in a playable state is it not! so we could enjoy derby while the bug fixes take place...
You can get the AI working to derby with... Even though you can only set them to either chase you or run away from you
