This is a large desert map inspired by Fat-Alfie's La Paz Rigs of Rods terrain. it includes a small industrious town, some long, desert roads, and something more Download and enjoy!
Re: [RELEASED] Desert Road shittttttttttttttt I did it again xD hold onnnnnnn Here's the files...you know the drill:
Re: [RELEASED] Desert Road Brilliant, loving the change of scenery. Getting lots of white box draw distance errors though.
Re: [RELEASED] Desert Road Hmm... odd, it works fine for me...last time I had that kind of bug, updating my game fixed it. Otherwise I have no idea how you can fix that...hopefully it doesn't happen for other people too >.< I should be sleeping already...ugh.
Re: [RELEASED] Desert Road ILL GO TO BED WHEN THE FIXED MAP UPLOADS! xD 66% ughhhh I've been up all night making this map...7 AM now >.< - - - Updated - - - Download in original post fixed!! Now time for bed FINALLY >.> *passes out*
Re: [RELEASED] Desert Road got one question this might make me sound stupid but how do you change it to night time ?
Re: [RELEASED] Desert Road There's a good explanation on the wiki: http://wiki.beamng.com/Changing_Time_of_Day Really cool map, I like the long bumpy freeways and the day night cycle. There are only 2 problems, the roads have the same attributes as the sand, because the wheels produce dust and don't leave skidmarks. And the light on the road from the headlights is flickering.
Re: [RELEASED] Desert Road Some really crazy stuff happens when you reach the end of the map lol i wont say what happened, just try it
Re: [RELEASED] Desert Road You wait a bit This map has a day/night cycle just like my dirt track map, just a bit longer.
Re: [RELEASED] Desert Road Thanks for making this map. This brought back memories of me when I was a little kid. The best car to use on this (my opinion) is the 49 Cadillac. It's the closes I can get to a 1949 belair 4 door 210 (the straight 6 model). I cant thank you enough.
Re: [RELEASED] Desert Road I made a video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPRvyDI7mDU&feature=youtu.be
Re: [RELEASED] Desert Road I cannot exactly figure out what material would be causing that if the error doesn't define it.
Re: [RELEASED] Desert Road Don't touch the whiteness at end of the map: (I don't think this can be fixed) And: Grass in the desert?
Re: [RELEASED] Desert Road Downloaded, everything seems to be working fine. Really fun map to crash on. Might even make some videos on it
