'Developer Section' Response Thread

Repo is responsible of quite a lot of data transfer, tdev about micro blog about it.

I have been wondering for a while about how affordable such can be and tdev a little about it getting costly.

Somehow I think that some of traffic might be automatic mod download re-downloading mods all over again. I'm keeping automatic mod updating off because I just don't trust it

Then again if there is something like 100 000 active players downloading 1GB which is not a much, that would be already 100 000GB, data amounts will be huge.

 

Italy continues to march along... this time with a comparison to a street view image.

Speaking of that image, I wonder if we'll see a terrain feature like this somewhere:


While it's not a perfect ramp, It might just be gentle enough on the one side and steep enough on the other to allow for some interesting vehicle flight.

I also like the look of the rock formation to the left there - I didn't know Italy had such interesting geologic formations.

 

It certainly makes interesting drive with a bus, I'm sure someone will make tourist bus version as a mod.
