Yes it is... By the way, the body shell of this model is not so accurate as from Forza 5 game... As far as I know, all models in Forza series are laser scanned...

My statement obviously isn't true. That is clearly the same model and Mad-Alex has also since confirmed this, but he did at one time take credit for making his own models.

I my self choose not to use other individuals or company models in any part of my modeling process so I don't exactly stay in the loop with what models are taken from where.

The same here, I am always modeling from scratch. I've been trying to model VF Commodore from scratch using photos of the real thing, and failed it. So I took Grid model. Also, it would be awesome to have a Forza 5 VF Commodore in Beamng game, it's 100% perfect...

(Please bear in mind that the n/b for the engine parts aren't finished, and that I'm using an outdated mesh with outdated textures...)

The headlights still look a little foggy to me. I think a more crisp higher resolution texture would help, like Bakasan said, if could get your hands on one.

(Off topic: Before the time that I posted this I always read your forum name as Basakan instead of Bakasan. I'm surprised it took me this long to notice that.)

Increase contrast, or adjust blacks slider in levels (CTRL+L) if using Photoshop.

    Looks great though, well done!

Thanks for the tipps..I have played with the levels a bit and tried to smoothen the surface a but to appear less foggy...what do you think?

If it only were as easy as just finding a high res texture and slapping it on there ^^ Here is a close-up of this whole thing.

Aha! Your fogginess is from the outer layer of glass. The noisy white texture makes it look like it's diffusing light, giving a fogged effect. You can either reduce opacity, or invert it to black, though I'd recommend the former.

The ridged glass texture is plenty big enough :)

Experiment with increasing specularity for the metallic surface inside the headlight assembly and darkening that splotch of grey by a good amount. It's all trial and error with lights!

Edit: Test passed! They are round this time :p Mythbuster had to fix the old rims because they turned out kind of oval :D

Is that based on the Grand Marshal running gear? But it should be FWD :( Look at the proportions

I though about that, but this car from MP3 had something of a differential and driveshaft to the rear, which was very undetailed, took this.

Also i thing the car as a thing has strong ressemblence to the Cadillac Seville, which indeed is a V8 FWD sedan of similiar proportions and styling, but i'm a fag at modelling so far and wouldn't be able to get the front drietrain right

Don't expect anyone at Rockstar to model car underbody properly :p I mean just take the Hummer knockoff from GTA. The engine is transverse from above but longitudinal from below, and it has no rear halfshafts
