DirectX missing despite having it?

    Kay so i was just playing BeamNG and i exited out to add mods so they would load into the game when i started it up again after doing so i clicked play i got this message.



    Unable to start BeamNG.drive: DirectX missing
    DirectX is missing. Please download and install DirectX before starting the game http://dxinstall.beamng.com

    If you cannot solve this problem, please contact our support via http://www.beamng.com/contactus/



    [ OK ]

    I have DirectX 10 and i think DirectX 11 why is it saying i don't have DirectX?

    run dxdiag and look at the data it comes up with.. to do this simply search for it in windows and run it.

    I got the problem fixed Had corrupted files had to delete everything and reinstall and it works again

    See first post, he didn't mention having DX9, which is what Luis linked.

    I see the first post. He said he was playing the game and then closed it. It then didn't work when he opened it again...
