Do Floors Create Downforce?

    Hi I'm currently designing a very special car right now and I want to know whether specialized floor systems (Such as those found in F1 and LMP1 cars) create additional down force?

    Ground effect is not simulated, and I don't think there is a simple way to fake it accurately. I would probably add some angled surfaces with high liftCoef where the low pressure areas should be.
