do I have to have the tech demo to update the game I keep getting a error

it says that beamng is being used somewhere else and it says close to the end of the update

 

Uhh, close all windows then start beamng.

Did you try restarting your computer?

 

Restart your PC and temporarily disable your anti-virus.

You could check task manager too to see if any BeamNG processes are still open.

 

I had the same problem. Like DrowsySam said check ur Task manager Theres a process called Beamng.EXE (Or Somthing that says Beamng other then the update) file thats still open. Close the Process and Reopen Beamng again

 

I did open the task manager there was only a few things open ii didnt see anything for beamng but I will look again when I get home thanks

I restarted my computer and checked task manager still have the same problem

 

That error is known to be caused by mcafee and norton both sticking their noses in where not required. Totally shut down your antivirus software before installing BeamNG
