Ror has its good areas, then it has more bad than good, so that's one reason why O don't mess with it.

Sometimes, but usually just to help someone or to prove a point.

At first, I wondered why I would pay $20 for basically just RoR, but then I played the tech demo and liked what I saw. I have an IRL friend who still plays Rigs, btw

RoR is currently in my folder of much junk. It doesn't get opened much, and when it does, it's just to make sure the program still runs.

I very rarely play it . Just to be reminded how lucky we are to have beamng. ROR is horrible now. But i do like the click drager.

The only reason I still have RoR installed is because Drive doesn't have force feedback.

Not super qualified to comment because I don't have a lot of racing/sim games experience, but I'll try.

You can just feel the road and make quick adjustments to your steering, which is especially useful at high speeds.

In a real car, if you turn the wheel full lock to the right or left, then let go of the wheel and start applying gas, the friction on the tires makes the steering straighten out and you won't be in full lock anymore.
In Drive right now, if I turn the wheel full lock to the left or the right, applying gas doesn't change anything because the controller just tells the game "steering wheel is at x position" and the game doesn't try to affect the position of the wheel. So the tires on the ground doesn't affect the position of the steering wheel at all, which just feels weird and unintuitive to me.

FFB is crucial IMO for high speed driving because you can tell more easily when to start adjusting the wheel position so that cornering feels much more natural and life-like.

I hope someone with better sim experience can chime in and maybe recommend some games with great FFB implementation. All I've got is Dirt 3, RoR, and Drive.

I never use it simply because of the lack of ease of use. Call me lazy, but I don't like getting in and out of cars just to spawn others. I also get worse fps even in 0.4.0.7 with the tatra than with 3 moon hawks in beamng. Add in the crashing and bugs and it's really lost it's appeal. :( Makes me sad though as I have almost 500 hours on it.

I go on it for FFB and the engine sounds... sometimes the large machinery/vehicles. We definitely need more heavy vehicles in BeamNG.
