By dead, I'm thinking your talking about bankrupt, gone, etc. If your talking about popularity, yeah, it has gone down in recent years I suppose.
Popularity: it’s went down really far. That’s all I can say, it went down really far with their drop of the Evo and Lancer.
EVO is great car. EVO r.i.p. 1992-2017 Successor is stupid crossover for stupid people who must have car more higher than eiffel tower and bigger than swimming pool. Terranin SUV and terrain cars= good Crossover= not terrain = unnecessary
They still make commercial appliances and some cars. But I think they will die off eventually. I don't think Mitsubishi has ever been that popular. I really like their older SUVs.
Mitsubishi Motors has really gone downhill and continues to do so at an alarming rate. Most of their models are either gone or became outdated, and that means nothing good for the brand. As of now, their lineup consists of: Two shitty crossovers A slightly outdated shitty crossover A slightly outdated electric portable toilet A horribly outdated compact sedan that is also very ugly A truck A truck-based SUV An outdated SUV A subcompact hatchback/sedan --- Post updated --- Everyone is complaining about the EVO, but it's not the only thing that is gone. Galant is gone, Sigma is gone, Colt is gone, Space Wagon and Grandis are gone. Even the Volvo-based Carisma and Space Star are now history. *TV starts playing sad music for some reason, what a coincidence*
I don't really care about Mitsubishi, I mean it's just a car company to me, but from what I see, they are just going with the trends, normal people today don't want a 2 door, RWD, manual car do to how useless it is, they want a AWD, FWD, or 4WD, 4 door, automatic car. I know it sucks that your favorite car is no longer be made but, they might fuck it up by the end.
Mits made some wonderful fighter/suicide aircraft in the 1940's, but I think it's always really been downhill from there.
But according to their website, they;re only selling 1 small car right now, the Mirage. Apart from that and 1 concept car, they're not in the small car market atall.
They are apparently still making them into 2018. https://www.mitsubishicars.com/?cid...djGUXLsfQvbUrhlQnzxoCmEkQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
