In my Global class we're learning about Armenian Genocide, why would they teach us that around Christmas beats the hell outta me, and I know a lot of countries (mostly Turkey) don't even recognize it, I just what to know do your school teach you about it.
Touched upon it in AP World history last year. Didn't get far enough into AP European history yet to know about this year.
Are we talking about the Mayans and the Indians? Because if so, we learned about it, but I will admit... history books over here do tend to just glaze over the subject like it was no big deal deliberately choosing to leave out almost all the information that a simple google search can yield. Yeah... just wipe out several entire civilizations... no big deal at all.
