Hi there, a very cool and I think simple feature to implement would be a drive by view. I imagine something like this. You push a button and the view goes to a camera 20 meters in front of the car and 1/2 a meter to the right of the car, the camera then follow the car as it drive by (I mean the camera stays in the same place but constantly turns towards the car). When you release the button again the camera goes back to the view where it was before you pushed the button. If you drive very fast (without slow motion) the camera could shake a little bit when you drive by it, to maximizes the sensation of speed. How far the camera should appear in front of the car could be depending on the speed you are driving ( the faster you drive the further away the camera ). Of course if you are driving backwards when you push the button the camera should be dropped behind the car. It also could be nice to have the possibility to toggle the drive by view (turn it on with one push and turn it off with the next push) if you just wants to drive around the camera having fun doing handbrake maneuvers, burnouts, doing jumps or driving slowly through rough terrain etc. Merry Christmas
This would be cool, but if you are making videos, you can always use the pause physics (J) feature to adjust the free camera to different angles.
