283 MB ? This mod seems to be a bit too heavy for what it is, it might even be one of the heaviest mods on the forums !

You don't need to have the whole level copied into your mod for it to work, just the files you modified (aka the line of code you changed). And also since you're overwriting official files, maybe your mod won't resist to the updates or make the game work incorrectly if there are changes made to these files in a next update.

I joined the same mod, with all the useless files deleted to this post. Went from 283MB to 11Ko. Please check if there are useless files in your next mods, it takes more time for the player to download, takes more room on the hard drive and also on the BeamNG's servers.

 

how can i change car? also, when i click "freeroam" the map dissapears

 

Go to the settings menu and go to gameplay. Then untick competitive scenarios or something like that.
