I was just wondering if anyone knew how how they could put the crash test dummy in mod cars? I've seen it done in YouTube videos and I've allways wanted to do it myself but never knew how.
As far as I know some youtubers just take the Oldsfullsize mod, put the dummy in and remove the frame, then they have a standalone sitting dummy and move it to another car with World Editor. Others use private mods that add dummies to mod cars.
Not really, Modland cars use way outdated Jbeams and don't have any collision in the interior so it doesn't work with them
The most common modland cars are meshslaps. The meshslaps have the same jbeam, so there isn't really any "interior collision issues" that would happen.
A lot of them are based on way outdated vanilla Jbeams though, and full interior collision for vanilla cars is quite a recent thing, and up until last year some vanilla cars didn't even have front seats collision. If you look through old mods, half of them are just hollow shells in terms of Jbeam, even including well made mods for the time.
