Dyno Still Coming?

Some time last year one of the devs created a post in the dev microblog showcasing a working dyno that was in the works. Is this still being worked on? It would be really cool to have in the game.

Yes. If it hasn't been officialy cancelled, and has been called a WIP by the devs for a while, then yes, it's still coming.

 

Probably late 2018. Not coming soon.

 

Sometime this year. It shouldn't take more than a year.

Ok... But there's not even pictures! And if were springed with another surprise, could be likely.

 

The weight tester thingamabob came without any screens.

 

Maybe... Oh I need to post this in USF. What if The Dyno will be one of those surprise vehicles?

 

Probably. It will probably come in the next update or the one after that.

Wouldn't it just use wheelspeed? There's already an app for that. @tdev , do you know what's wrong with what you're trying to do with the dyno? It should be pretty simple.

 

Some pictures of the dyno were actually posted some time ago.
I guess what makes it take so long is the .lua code.

By that time the sun would be a red giant. How would we enjoy the dyno then?
