I've been working on this simple mod to learn as I progress, I'll leave it here, some people might find it useful. I used hydros to make it go up and down, and then added a ramp with multi-dae. Now I'll just move on to more complex stuff.

It works both as an elevator or as a crusher if the car is below the platform :D

    Controls: turning signals

To install it just drop the .zip into content/vehicles.

    Known bugs:

-when you spawn it please spawn it again using ctrl+r otherwise it shakes for a few seconds.

Credits to DrowsySam, I based the jbeam on his angle tester :D

Do the hyrdros use slidenodes to function or is it using lua?

It should get back in place if you elevate the platform I think, at least that's what it did to me, but yeah the pillars are just visual.

If you're using the steam experimental version just drag and drop the .zip into content/vehicles.

If you're using the stable version, then drop the ''elevatorbc'' folder into the vehicles folder.

And don't forget the lua folder inside it, that's what makes the turn signals work with this object.
