The P42DC is on hold until we find a modeler. In the mean time, I found a free high detail model of an Amtrak F59PHi with cars! It only needs Lua and J-Beam! There are two different types for the cars. Here are your choices. Amfleet I or the Superliner Parlour car. It was made in 3DS Max.
    Specifications for LUA and Info
    Horsepower: 3,200
    Maximum speed: 110 mph
    Weight: 265,000 pounds
    RPM (MIN/MAX) 318 RPM - 908 RPM
    Fuel Capacity: 2,000 gal

These locomotives aren't superior of the Genesis in anyway, but they will do fine for now.

Well, I didn't see to much as it was on the highway, but I remember it having double decker cars and an engine at the front and one in reverse on the back

Yep. That sounds like the San Joaquin or the Capitol Corridor

The double deckera are probably Surfliner cars or a variation of them built by Bombardier.
