I tried BeamNG via Steam Remote Play. You can do this yourself here https://github.com/smaTc/RemotePlayDetached Download a free, 'Remote Play' supported burner game on Steam, and follow the install instructions for that. Then you can do it yourself too. It works basically flawlessly. It emulates the other persons controllers. I had 2 hours of fun with this today. From what i heard the input lag is nearly nonexistent, only issue ended up being stream quality. It'd be awesome if this was just allowed in BeamNG's own steam settings, so that I don't have to use some burner app and allocate play time on it rather than BeamNG.
AFAIK It's enabled based on which tags the game has. If it has the Multiplayer tag on the store, Remote Play is enabled. No plans into have multiplayer tags, even though we have multiseat, it's not what some would expect.
It's independent of any tag added to the game afaik. It has to be enabled as its own feature. I couldn't use this feature in an 'Multiplayer' game, I had to specifically filter by the 'Remote Play' feature. https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/remoteplay
