Hello, I am currently in the process of making an engine mod (may or may not get released). I inserted the torque numbers into the correct spot, loaded up the game, and am getting a different power figure? What is happening?
Either drivetrain/friction losses or efficiency numbers, I'm not entirely certain which affect it, I should do some testing really, but I think what you input as an torque (use Nm in game files), is gross power and what you see ingame app is more like net power, I'm not sure if it is from flywheel, wheels or someplace else, but it is not gross power.
Oooh I was using LB-FT in game files oooh maybe that's the issue --- Post updated --- Well the conversion upped the power but i'm still missing like 50 hp and torque
I beileve the HP/Torque curve app measures "at wheel" power, after friction as been applied. 250hp turns into 110hp in the T-Series.
The in game torque curve shows you flywheel values, that's the jbeam data minus static and dynamic losses in the engine. There is currently no way of statically displaying wheel torque curves. Jbeam inputs are all metric, so Nm in this case. Why don't you show us the in game curve and the full engine jbeam data?
