Ever since it came out, I've always wanted to race the Dunekicker around my absolute favourite track from one of my favourite ever video games. So now as my first ever map, I'm making it a reality. Presenting... ♥ Ensenada my beloved ♥ Currently Featuring... Actual BeamNG PBR terrain generated from track geometry The full Ensenada layout + the (superior imo) Sprint layout All the trackside objects and features you know and love Carefully placed puddles to replicate the OG groundcovers converted from the game's files Trees stolen from other maps (thank you Jungle Rock Island and Johnson Valley for your service) Things to do before release TONS of lods and optimization Decals for track textures Figure out a more reasonable wall collision mesh maybe Get some actual sponsor textures on the ad boards Finish line gantry + flags Fireworks for the jumps Night lighting Track map Those iconic mountains in the distance Things to do after release AI lines perhaps? Some custom skins for the Dunekicker based on the DiRT 2 trophy trucks? PBR textures for the objects perhaps? Maybe even a new track layout?? Anyway, I'll keep y'all updated on my progress. Just keep in mind it's still my first ever map mod so I'm learning as I go, but I'm super proud of what I've done so far.
Yeah great memories about this map in Dirt 2, I hope I can drive this map also with a normal rally car, that would be awsome.
