Error #887a0005 after running thumbnail generator

    Title says it all. Whenever running thumbnail generator (for D series), instantly or a few cars in game experiences a fatal error #887a0005 and then proceeds to close.

    Things I have done to try to make it work:
    • safe mode
    • unloading of all mods
    • game file verification (using steam)
    • graphics driver update
    • pc restart
    I have sent the error report to the devs, I really cant thing of anything else to try to fix this.
    PC specs:
    • i7-7700hq @ 2.8GHz
    • nVidia 1050ti (game was running on this)
    • 8gb of RAM
    • 69 GB free on game drive
