ESC

i dont seem to be able to switch between electronic stability control modes, even after assigning a control for it. This is for the Pessima and Sunburst. When i press my assigned button (numpad minus) nothing happens - no message and no change for the way the car drives/controls.

 

Did your tried CTRL Q ? try that

You need to bind the function to a button if you already have any sort of custom mapping. It's in control, you might need to tick of advanced functions, and scroll way down until you find the ESC function and bind it to whatever you want. I bound it to the original Ctrl + Q key, but it's up to you.

wait, it doesnt work for the pessima, but does work for the sunburst. This is after i reassigned the control to ;

 

The pessima doesnt have alternative ESC modes defined, infact its entire ESC section is entirely unlike the sunburst one, I am not convinced its complete/working on the pessima.

 

I noticed the Pessima had ESC in the parts selector. Couldn't change any modes though, so I assumed it was always on or something. Maybe it's just not working/implemented yet, or it is and just doesn't do a very good job, as I would expect for an older car.

Suppose so. Although the mk1 ford focus had it, it was not equipped on all models though and I think even rarer in the US market for some reason. It is present on my 2000 focus although I prefer to disable it, its actually really quite aggressive.

Mitsubishi had it in 1990
