ETK Driver Experience Center Update or Mod?

Has there ever been any talk of the map being updated? It has basically been the same old map since it was released (to my knowledge) and I was wondering if anyone knew if the devs would ever update or add to it. I really like the map, but I just think it's so small. Is there any mods that have remade the map? I would really like to see the highway increased with exits leading to towns and gas stations. I think the map is underappreciated, and I would really like to know if there are any plans for it going forward.

 

there aren't really any mods based on it currently, but considering it's now pretty much the oldest non-reworked map in the game (except gridmap and cliff, which are more basic anyway) the devs will probably remaster it some time in the future.
