European Ibishu Pessima MK2 (1997 - 2004) Released now on repository - https://www.beamng.com/resources/eudm-ibishu-pessima-mk2.28969/ Hello, people of BeamNG forums. I present to you my yet another project i've been working on it after i finished my modernized Miramar mod. This mod was technically in development since mid August, however it was put on hold after the rear was half-finished. I resumed it just a week ago and i finished working on many visual bits of the car, and i finally put it into the game. The mod is based on Ibishu Pessima MK2, but a real-life prototype is a European MK6 Honda Accord, but i decided to go for a facelifted version of Honda Accord i'm basing it on since i like it more over a pre-facelift. It would be accurate to base this mod on the Accord since it is still a Honda, and a vanilla Pessima is based on Honda Legend, which obviously is also a Honda. The mod features a slightly large amount of engines compare to vanilla Pessima's offering, ranging from 1.6 litres all the way to 2.3 litres, 2 diesels are also included, a 1.6 Diesel and 2.0 Diesel, used in DX and LX trim levels. The mod also features right hand drive dashboard and windshield which you can either select from the configuration selector, or swap it yourself in vehicle config tab. It also features new set of trim levels, two of which are SX, a low-tier sport model, and GT, which is a mid-tier sport model. This mod will be stuck with sedan / saloon body, and yes, i do know the existence of a liftback offered with the Accord, however, i barely can tell from the side if it's a sedan or a liftback using the reference pictures, and because of this, i stuck with the sedan just because it's more familiar to me and that's what MK2 Pessima initially came with. Station wagons will not be added as MK6 Accord in Europe was not offered with one. Anyways, enjoy the pictures. Pictures As a reminder, mind that if you'll send something hateful here that is not related to this or any other thread and it was just made to hate the author(s), you risk of getting reported and if moderation team would take notice of that, your account might be suspended.
I have removed most factory colours from vanilla Pessima (but i left some shades of gray) and added new ones in. The ones I'm showing on the screenshots are the new colours, ones i skipped are existing colors in most vanilla cars. Their names are on the left.
i feel the same knowing its not really based on it but its really cool to see it since someone already attempted to make an avensis but abandoned it agree, something like this would be cool i like how it looks, however i dont really accept some parts of modeling wyats with the grille (the way how it connects with the hood) ugh (i just dont like the center console at all) it looks like dented + weird roof shadeing but dont get me wrong, i am excited for this, just trying to point the issues b4 release, i would also be glad if you would appreciate my feedback by getting improving around those issues so is it a different car in the vehicle selector? im confused a bit
As for the weird shading issues with the model, i'm still working on that, and i try to make it smooth as possible. As for the question if it's a different car in the selector, yes, for the conditions i met, it has to be separate from the MK2 Pessima, similarly to how MK2 Zenith from KLJP mod became separate during development, even though it is still a MK2 Pessima underneath. --- Post updated --- And even though it's separate, all of the textures (except the gauges which i will change later on) are linked to the vanilla MK2 Pessima, which resulted an incredible reduction in file size.
The model definitely needs some work but I really like the idea of alternate vanilla vehicles for different markets
@ibishucovet1987.txt after this will the hirochi sunlight come back? --- Post updated --- or is that canceled again
I was thinking of alternate badging, where it's known as the Ibishu Pessima Euro in certain countries (similar to the Honda Accord Euro in Australia).
why do you even mention a cancelled mod from early 2022? Besides, how the heck you even found it and liked one of the comments there?
I'm already working on the modeling issues that javascript pointed out. I already smoothed out the hood in the place where it connects with the grille. As for the C pillar, i'm struggling with it, no matter what i do to it it won't smooth out in the game even if in blender it shows up smooth.
