European trucks (uses real trucks as examples for the style)

The devs not long ago release a truck update. but only revamping the t series.
if the devs were to add some european style trucks, this can add more realism to the italy map aswell as a diverse truck type.
there are mods like the segra but basegame trucks will help out

ETS2 player here, would be delited to see a european truck, and preferrably a modern one.

I believe its' in their pipeline given that t series has been renamed from "truck" to "us_truck", implying a potential "eu_truck".

I too am in support of this sort of addition. 97% of the world's population is outside of America, thus the existing T-Series, whilst fairly authentic in their own way, mean nothing to those of us for whom these are not a common sight on the roads.

 

the only truck like this in the uk(idk if it is anywhere else) is the scania t cab(the truck in my profile picture)

 

Very rare in the UK, more popular in Nordic areas & Netherlands. Bear in mind they went out of series production 20 years ago.

I agree there are no European trucks in the game, judging by the hint from the developers, it (again) will not be added, although it has not been added since the 1st version of the game.

i like that idea of more euro trucks sine segra is like scania, how about etk as Mercedes and maybe autobello belly or a new brand as iveco and the other brands idk but they new lore brand companies. For Volvo it could have both euro and usa style design like this. also an old euro truck design like 80’s or 90’s or something

That's a modification by a Dutch company. Costs many thousands and is done only for show.

 

I am just thinking, since there is a Volvo in american truck sim, probably a similar approach would be taken here but it might be a vintage one

We will see. I am not sure which one you are referring to : FH Series or VNR/VNL Series?
Ultimately the developers have the final say.

 

Well both models really. I'm drivign the VNL series because i've applied a sound engine mod from zeemods. added ultra realistic engine sounds to the truck so it's worth driving it now. That tho would be your best bet having a hybrid/european truck in beamng

VNL is a conventional US truck. The FH series is a European truck. I.e: Cabover.
We'll see anyways.
