exhaust backfire help

    hello!

    im editing files for the bolides exhaust, and im pretty new. i would like to make it shoot flames (aka: backfire) more than it currently does.

    im currently at a loss, and i cant find anything related on the wiki. any help would be appreciated!

    another thing driving me beserk: when i save it, it dosent save as a JBEAM file, instead as a TXT file.

    To modify the backfire, I think you need to mess with these values:
    upload_2020-4-19_23-22-22.png

    Also, don't use the standard Notepad to edit jbeam files. Instead, go get Notepad++ & edit it in that

    What's the difference between "instantAfterFireCoef" and "sustainedAfterFireCoef" ?

    Instant are the single pops, sustained is over-run.

    To increase the visual fire - you need to change the afterFireVisualCoef value in the exhaust jbeam.
