I believe that the dev team is onto something by having part of the game's interaction features be done through the first person onfoot mode. However i think that this can be expanded further by adding more walkable areas, and more things to do related to this. Things like: Taking a taxi, in case quick travel is disabled but you are unable to use a car to move around, specially useful in case you need to buy a car Leaving your car to refuel it in fuel stations Only opening the trunk or the hood if you are on foot Being stranded in case the police eventually impounds your car if you get caught Having to go out of your way to go into a walk-in parts shop to buy parts for a car instead of an instant buy-deliver-install from the computer Giving drivers a physical model. Yes, i do know that for rating reasons this is very questionable, but when there's so much on foot interactions and i think more should be added, giving the rider a physical medium to exist other than in spiritual form will make seeing a car from behind not driving itself slightly more enjoyable, although that's my opinion. Not to mention this is also required for bikes should they be added
