NO LONGER WORKING AS OF 0.32. INCLUDED ARE ~250 DESTINATIONS THAT ANYONE IS FREE TO REUSE FOR THEIR OWN CAREER MODS. A quick mod made on a whim because career mode lacks the financial incentive to buy semi-trailers with how little profit you can make. Balance-wise its pretty close to vanilla game but the main big difference are the large scale orders for drink pallets with a weight based on my experience working in warehouses. It's a bit sad that the heaviest vanilla item in the game weighs a fraction of what I used to pack on an hourly basis. This mod changes two files: Code: levels\west_coast_usa\facilities\deliverywarehouses.facilities.json and Code: levels\west_coast_usa\facilities\deliverywarehouses.deliveryItems.json For those wondering, the facilities filechanges includes the following major changes: * Drop-off and pick-up locations specified by BeamNG's devs have been included as pickup points. As drop-off points they haven't all been used because it can get VERY hectic trying to drive a friggin road train in a cramped warehouse. (DO NOT RECOMMEND! lol) - As a little tip you can drive a vehicle to puck up items, go back to your truck and move the cargo across. Also you can pick up items on foot... err I mean unicycle. * Expanded more items they can spawn. This is because while Spearleaf's industrial warehouse (the one near the office complex) might previously spawn up to 12 items, it now has to divide that among 10 locations instead of previously 1. And no, I haven't found where all the spawn locations are yet lol * I've renamed the two spearleaf locations to reduce confusion. Update! More facilities, not just warehouses. This one includes a helipad, which I kinda forgot to exclude from this release but oh well, maybe in the future. The helipad isn't game breaking if you miss out on it, it just means you shouldn't pick up supplies that lead to it (small parcels, medical supplies and small batches of food). Until someone tells me how I can contact Darren9 regarding his DH Super Gnat mod and possibly get his permission, I can't officially release the fixed and career mode compatible version of his helicopter. Other than that there are many more destinations - Firefighter's den, church, forest, sneaky tunnels, refinery, movie studio, suburbs, radio station, a repair shop that everybody seems to not know exists and so on. https://github.com/ZdrytchX/BeamNG_WarehouseFacilities/releases/tag/v2 I have plans to supersize this mod to include changes to vanilla container trucks - by that I mean those carrying water/fuel, not the shipping container variety. I also intend to eventually add passengers as a cargo option buuut there's a LOT of seats in-game to run through and that will take a looong time. EDIT: Apparently game engine has no protection whatsoever on json5 data structures. Renaming a few items somehow fixed some critical issues. EDIT2: Applied similar changes to other tables to ensure it doesn't overwrite anything. Weirdest thing is these issues don't actually spit out any errors. Please let me know if you have any issues with tables. EDIT3: I'm still having issues with json table leaks. There's nothing wrong with the formatting and everything is properly defined, tried renaming a bunch of stuff but some tables still break the game. Please don't use V2 for the time being (the OP should be V1 which should be fine to download, otherwise get v1 off github releases) EDIT4 (2024-03-03) (V2.5): I got it semi-stable again. Fuel delivery modes are working again, bank runs should(?) work but encounters as usual are very unlikely, warehouse stuff nerfed. A quickfix was applied to all except the container-tanker trailer (I actually just forgot about it), many parcels are temporarily reset to "parcel" type instead of their special category (e.g. film studio fan goods and medical supplies for hospital deliveries etc.)
Does this mod still work on 0.33? Using both the MD and T series I feel like there just isn't any cargo spawning in vanilla
No, its not compatible. 0.32 completely redid some career mode stuff, plus some features are now redundant (e.g. devs did a proper materials delivery thing) If anyone wants, they can reuse the spot files or whatever from my mod since I did add something like 250 destinations.
