I don't think that cars explode when they crash even at 100mph (maybe over), this is not an action movie, it's a simulation game.
CARS. DONT. EXPLODE. They can sometimes catch on fire, but they almost NEVER explode. The gas tank is put out of harms way to reduce the chance of a fire, but even so, cars don't explode. Mythbusters has done a few episodes on this type of thing and in one they literally set a gas tank on fire. All the gasoline did was burn.
