External CD/DVD Drive

    Hay guys... I think this goes here...
    I am looking for a external CD/DVD drive for my laptop that is relatively portable so I can burn music, dvd's and games. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am currently looking at this drive: LG Slim USB Drive, does anyone have one? is it any good?

    not remotely portable but I just use a USB to SATA/PATA adapter. I've tested it with my desktops SATA optical drive, old laptops SATA hard disc and an old PATA optical drive. THe PATA optical drive didnt read discs via the adapter, but it didnt in the PC either.

    As long as it's an optical drive and works, it will be fine.

    Go with anything that isn't too expensive for you, there aren't any differences anymore.
