Failed to start game (unknown error)

Tried downloading the experimental version of BeamNG.drive from Steam. I get this error message upon starting it:

I've tried booting the game manually but this error pops up

• The game isn't installed in the default steam library on C: but I haven't had a problem with the current library as all my Steam games are installed there.
• I have Admin control and I've tried launching the game through Steam as an admin and manually as an admin.

• I've also checked this list of files that may affect the game from the steam list and removed as many as I can

Yes this is a repost from the other support page but hopefully I'll get more attention here
